Will's Room

My sister asked me a few days ago if I ever finished Will's room. My answer: NOPE.

There is a reason that people usually decorate the baby room before the baby gets there! Because we were moving two weeks after he was born, we couldn't do a lot about that. Oh well.

Most of what we got done happened way back in June when my sister, Kylie, was visiting us. However, we did get curtains yesterday. That is about as far as I anticipate getting for a while, so I might as well call it done (even though I have several unfinished projects in his closet!).

The new curtains (and a fabric bunting that had been lonely there for a while). We are hoping that the blackout curtains will help him to sleep later in the morning. Cross your fingers!

A paper airplane mobile. It used to be above his crib, but then he attacked it, so we had to move it to the corner of his room.

The most time consuming (and my favorite) project: a collection of photos on painted wood.

A quick close up. Look at how tiny he was!

Another bunting on the closet.

His crib and "William" sign (both gifts from our families).

An adorable owl that Kylie sewed for Will.

While I took those pictures, Will entertained himself by emptying the clean clothes out of the laundry basket. It is one of his favorite hobbies - especially if I have already folded the clothes!

This awesome airplane was a Craigslist find.

Will loves to read. Usually, he has pulled out at least a few dozen more books.

I think he likes his room (and his mama).
