We moved!

We moved! Yes, we only moved about 200 feet away (to a bigger apartment in the same complex), but it was still a move, and we survived.

Being the over-planner that I am, I started packing weeks ahead of time. That meant that we were living with piles of boxes for weeks. Still, I'm glad I did it, because my pregnant self is not up to any 12 hour marathon packing days. We also got a free bunk bed from someone in our ward a couple weeks before we moved, so we had those pieces filling our dining room too. Will didn't seem to mind, though, and found plenty of ways to entertain himself.

The move went pretty smoothly. We got lots of help from friends (including a 9-month-pregnant friend who carried more than I did) and people in the ward, and we had everything up and running in the new place in no time.

Will took a few days to warm up to the new apartment ("No new house!"). When we asked why he didn't like the new house and why he wanted to go back to the old house, he said, "Food." Ha ha. I guess we were a little slow on transferring all of the snacks he likes.

Now, we are all loving the extra space, and Will is especially loving the new bunk bed.

Will helped me clean the old apartment (in his awesome Christmas pajamas). Sadly, these pictures were taken just moments before he split open both lips by running into the chair I was carrying on our last trip between apartments. It was pretty sad, but he is fully recovered now (although he still insists on us being "really careful" when we are doing anything near his lips).

Now we just need a couple baby girls to fill the extra bedroom!
