Twin Girls!

We found out that our little twins are both girls! We are so excited. I was really hoping that at least one would be a girl (although we certainly would have been happy no matter what). The ultrasound technician checked everything else first, and then FINALLY got to the gender. Girl! I asked her how sure she was (not wanting to get my hopes up too much...) and she said she was extremely sure. I couldn't stop smiling after that! The second girl was another wonderful surprise. It made the 3 hour appointment worth it. You can bet that there are going to be some cute matching dresses in the future...

...including these summer dresses!

(I also went a little crazy at my favorite Jack and Jill consignment sale...)

I continue to get bigger...

(At almost 20 weeks)

and the girls are starting to look more like actual babies than blobs.

(At 9 weeks, when we first found out they were twins)

(Baby A at 19 weeks)

 (Baby B at 19 weeks)

We can't wait to meet them.

One Last Vacation

We decided to hurry and squeeze one last vacation in before we have three kids. As much as we love Will, we also decided that this needed to be a vacation without him  to be able to really relax (especially during this 2-year-old-monster stage).

We flew to California where we dropped Will off with Daniel's parents. The next morning, off we went to Long Beach for a cruise. Sadly, on our way to Long Beach, I discovered that I had lost my wallet. It was eventually found and returned (missing all of the vacation cash that was in it, of course), but it certainly made for a stressful drive while I tried to cancel all of my cards and contact all of the places we had been the day before. Luckily, I still had our passports, so we were still able to go on the cruise.

(18 weeks pregnant - getting big!)

 (I won!)

(Afternoon Tea)

(Daniel tried hard to win an Xbox One...no luck!)

(A wonderful In-n-Out stop on our way home)

This cruise was a repeat of a cruise that we went on before we had Will. This time, we only got off the boat for about 45 minutes at Catalina Island and didn't get off in Mexico at all. We like the boat! We ate lots of wonderful food, enjoyed the shows, read books in the sun, and took lots of naps. It was heavenly. Still, by the last day, I was ready to get home to Will. That was the longest we had ever left him!

Will had a great time with his grandparents, cousins (3 year old Lyla and 2 month old baby Lexi), aunts, and uncles. Supposedly, he was very well behaved, too (better than he is for us!). He seemed excited to see us - I got lots of cuddles. We had a fun few days with everyone after the cruise.

("Ohhhhhh! Tiny baby!" over and over and over)

It was a great trip! Thank you Larsen family for watching Will so we could go on one last vacation!
